  Unfortunately, it appears that in order to do a convenient geometry modification, either the script that copies geometries to the farm needs to copy the entire geometry folder, or all of the relevant files need to be tracked in the submission script (inconvenient, easily messed up), or each file that is being used gets a new suffix (current approach - spams the git repository with excess files whose tracking is not well handled...).

I propose that for actual parameter space searches, an absolute minimum of files are modified (one at a time preferably) - using a script generated .xml included file, not even editing the file itself - and all other files are left at the baseline configuration.
