Dear All:

I'd like to remind everyone who has signed up for shifts to check your required training routinely. We sometimes have shift workers denied entry through the accelerator gate, and it is a hassle to find a replacement. It is not just ODH and Radworker I, but also some of the annual trainings that are set to expire on a fixed month:

ES&H Orientation<https://www.jlab.org/div_dept/train/SAF100/index_2018.html>
SAF100
3 years (36 months) from date taken

For example, the first Friday in January, I happily drove to the accelerator gate and was denied entry. I did not receive any training expiration notice and I had no clue why I couldn't enter. Later, it turned out my SAF801kd expired...

Also, don't forget to register your visit at least 7 days prior to your trip:

If you are not sure whether you can access the accelerator site, please call user liaison's office to confirm you can indeed pass the gate a few days prior to your expected arrival (shift taking) date.

Lastly, the Hall C walkthrough SAF112 is typically required for taking shifts in Hall C. However, given the current running status, the walkthrough may be difficult to schedule. Please contact the spokesperson or Run Coordinator if you would like to schedule a walk through.

Thanks,

Xiaochao
