Sorry for the delay!
I had a good think about it and I think the benefits of moving it to another day outweigh the potential drawbacks.
Would a Wednesday be okay? That way I could stick around for a bit after the seminar and discuss the content with colleagues.

The schedule can be adjusted to fit your schedule. With that being said, it can be moved to 10am or another day at 11am, which may impact attendance.

Sorry lost track of this over the various holidays and me starting to teach.



I had a think about it and realized that it might be best to talk about what I did over the past few years so that we can identify synergies.



A couple months back I did a colloquium to the entire EPFL physics department on the simulation tools we develop for FCC. It went down quite well but is a bit superficial and aimed at a general physics audience. Do you think that might be an interesting topic?

As I had mentioned, we would like to invite you to give an accelerator seminar here at the lab when it suits your schedule. To give you an idea of some of the previous ones, please follow the following link: https://www.jlab.org/accelerator-seminars



Essentially, they are usually held from 11AM until noon on Thursdays. They are open to the whole of the lab, but the audience tends to be accelerator scientists of varying experience from the accelerator division, which includes SRF experts, beam dynamics, design, support, etc… Essentially an audience with broad accelerator experience, but of varying degrees.



I’ve CC’d Tristan, our awesome admin, to help with the scheduling, etc… She’ll need a title, abstract, and a headshot, as well as an introductory paragraph that we can use on the day. She’ll also help to narrow down the best day for you that fits in here as well.
