The MYA backups have now been officially moved from bksrv3 (Sun 5.10) to 
bklib2(RHEL6).  Historically, we backed up 4 months to a single tape.  
With the new system we are starting out backing up 12 months to a single 
tape (with some tweaks and tests, I think this can be raised to 18 
months).  In addition, the restore process has been automated so that 
the MYA Admin can run a script and have the entire online set mounted on 
any MYA host.  One final statistic to note is that the backup on  
12/3/2011 from bksrv3 of MYA data (4 months)  took 6.5 hours to backup 
850MB.  A backup of 1.95 TB on bklib2 of MYA data (13 months) took 3 
hours and seven minutes.  At the risk of dating myself, "I love it when 
a plan comes together."
