I have deployed a new tool that should now be in your path called shownet.  It is designed to provide any information you might need about our networks.   You can give it a hostname, ip, network or nothing.  I had thought to add the vlan information as well but wanted Brad and Scott's blessing to do that.

Usage:
         shownet [-v][-h] [network name][ip][hostname]
              
     Examples:
         shownet
         shownet acenet
         shownet devl07
         shownet devl07 devl08
         shownet 129.57.228.107
         shownet -v

Example output:

[cuffe at devl07 ~]$ shownet devl07
