Developers,
Please be aware that the host hlal00 is now logically part of the OPS fiefdom. This change has been made as a first step towards the migration of everything in EOS to OPS and to facilitate the preparations done by controls for Hall A. The aliases for the login server for the EOS fiefdom have bee modified to point at hlal01 (which is still part of EOS). This means ssh'ing to eosll or hlall will result in you being an EOS system. Login aliases are maintained for all fiefdoms to make this more simple:
opsll
devll
chlll
felll
eosll (as maintain hlall)
eesll
csmll
If you are ever curios about which nodes are part of which fiefdoms, the utility shownodes will show you the entry from our database file:
# shownodes hlal
hlal00 #RHEL 6WS i386 #PE_1950 #ops #None # HLA OPS Server
hlal01 #RHEL 6WS i386 #PE_R610 #eos #procServMgr # HLA Login Server for Soft Iocs
Please call me if you have any questions.
