[Ace] Building 87 Printer

I just wanted to pass on some information about the printer for building 
87.  It is named cs35 and is a color printer, fax machine and copier.  
It has paper for legal (8.5x14), poster (11x17) and normal paper 
(8.5x11).  I do not believe that the fax part works yet but printing and 
copying work.  Be aware when printing though that the default is "black 
and white" and "two-sided" so if this is not what you want, you will 
need to select the printer preferences and change these (frustrating I 
know, but this is a lab wide setup that we cannot optimize).


Adding cs25 from windows:

Click on Start>In the search box enter "\\jlabprt\cs35"  This will 
automatically add the printer to your system.

If you want to make it your default printer, Start>>Printers and 
Whatever>> Right Click on cs35>>Select "Make Default Printer"

Using cs25 on Linux:
=============

This printer should now be available via the normal linux print cues.  
This means just using it via "lp" should work, for example:

lp -d cs35 .cshrc

You should also just be able to select it from any gui dialogue like 
acrobat or nedit.


Using cs35 on HP or Sun:
===============

Please join us today in the sunlight of 2014 and just print from 
something modern enough to support a common printing system.
