We're at the point in our o365 email/calendar testing where we would like to expand our list of people testing the environment to ones outside of the IT Division.  What that would mean is people that migrate early would need to use o365 for their email and Zimbra for calendar.  In addition, you would have access to the same o365 environment that you will have after we migrate everyone in Dec, except that your Zimbra calendar entries would not be moved until Dec.  So, you would need to continue using Zimbra for calendar, but your Zimbra email would be synced to o365 and all future email would be forwarded there.


Here's what you would be doing:


- Use o365 for email and Zimbra for calendar

- Provide feedback on what works and what doesn't

- Be patient as we work through any issues you find.  This may mean that you will have to use a work around or find some other way of doing things while we identify and fix, if possible, your issue.


Note that Zimbra distribution lists, and global address lists are not yet in place.  Distribution lists and the global address book are areas where we are actively working.  They will be added in the future, but just not right now.  Also, if you have Zimbra filters, you'll need to recreate them in o365 as they will not be migrated.


Let me know if anyone in ACE would be willing to be an early adopter and we'll add them to the list.  Also, if you know of anyone else, outside of ACE, that you think would be a good early adopter, let us know that as well. And if you have any questions, contact either Paul or I.
