FYI the updated script to sync CUE users to ACE has been running for many weeks now via cron without issue.
The big difference in the script is that is uses LDAP instead of the (deprecated) passwd file on CUE.
The cron is setup to run multiple times a day because it's relatively quick and I'm trying to catch:
3am - any changes that happened at midnight
9am - any changes admins made at start of day
7pm - any changes made at CoB that day

These were the basic times that Marty and Kelvin said routine changes were likely to occur (urgent situations should still be handled personally/by on-call as usual).
