I wanted to report something that I found that has not caused any issues until now.  Newly created VMs using RHEL 9 and the latest VMware 7.X hardware layer have secure boot enabled.  I found that when I tried to install a dkms kernel module on one fo the opsbatX

 RHEL 9 system, it would never load.  Turns out that secure boot was the culprit.  I am not sure we need to do anything other than be aware of it as a possible cause of something not quite working right.  This is disabled on all hardware systems due to nvidia

 and other factors.</div>

I will ba disabling it for all opsbatX RHEL nodes during patching.  This is so that we can install the NI (yes Labiew!) kernel modules in the future if we need to.  This was to support a detector in hall D but will likely be asked for again.</div>
