<p>Good afternoon,  </p>

<p> </p>

<p>Effective July 16, 2025, posting conditions for the Gun Test Stand (GTS) area have been updated. The entire GTS zone—including the upper control room, mezzanine, and lower-level mechanical room—is now designated as a **Radiologically Controlled Area (RCA)

 – Dosimetry Required**.  </p>

<p>These changes are in preparation for upcoming operations involving elevated voltage (~200 keV) and current (2 mA).  </p>

<p>Please ensure this information is communicated during Toolbox meetings and Pre-Job briefings.</p>

<p> </p>

<p>Entry into any RCA requires the following:  </p>

<p>- RW1 (Radiation Worker I) training  </p>

<p>- Personal dosimeter  </p>

<p>- OR participation in a JLAB tour with a trained escort and a Self-Reading Pocket Dosimeter (SRPD)  </p>
