I have removed the "rm ../support/epics" step from the app conversion procedure for CSUE3 -> CSUE4.
To make this possible I have released a new version of csueTools (4-7-6) that contains changes to the file templates that handle the epics support link.
No action is needed by developers. Just follow the conversion procedure as before.
Hopefully this will eliminate the problem of the disappearing EPICS versions.

It’s probably me when I’m converting to csue4 again, but I promise I DID NOT “rm -rf” !! this time!

6. “Update your epics support to match the new version of CSUE. While in the dvl/src directory:
rm ../support/epics
make support
----------
When I auto-complete with tab
rm ../support/epics/
I got an error that it was a directory. Reminded me of my previous mistake.
rm ../support/epics (this is correct)
Could my initial attempt do damage before erroring out?
If this is the issue – it definitely needs to be more dummy proof, to protect against me.

Subject: [acg] EPICS directory blown away again
Sometime today or yesterday, the directory:
/usr/dvlepics/epics/R3.14.11.J1
was mostly deleted. The only things remaining were some items in the support directory. I restored the directory for the latest snapshot. Can someone please verify that this directory is now whole again?
Also, can we figure out a better permission scheme or figure out what work pattern is suddenly blowing these epics directories away?
Anthony
