ACG Colleagues,

Ops is in need of PDs for the rest of this year.  As a group central to the Operations department, I think it's incumbent upon us to attempt to provide at least one.  From what I can see, we've supplied only 1 of the last ~50 PDs (yours truly!).

To the uninitiated it may seem a daunting task.  No prior experience is necessary or assumed, and support is provided.  I think the experience of most first time PDs is that once you get over some initial anxiety, it's a very rewarding and educational undertaking.  Is anyone willing to step up?

Colleagues,
In just over a month we have a PD gap to fill. There is another I&C provided PD after the gap, then the whole rest of the year is wide open.

My senior staff who could be PD are going to be on shift for most this, or, well, they work for some of you now. So, I rely very heavily on you encouraging your staff to volunteer for PD.

If I missed sending this to someone who has PD potentials working for them. Please forward it to them and/or let me know so I can add them to my contact group.

But most of all, reach out to your people. This encouragement needs to come from the top down.
