<p>Scattered severe weather across Hampton Roads, central Virginia and northeast North Carolina is expected this afternoon and evening. Threats include damaging winds and gusts expected to be up to 45-75 mph, possible tornados and isolated hail. Please review
your shelter locations in your work area. Immediately tie down or secure loose equipment and materials in your outdoor JLab work areas. Peak activity is expected around this afternoon through close of business. Contact your supervisor if it may affect your
work schedule. Take extra care commuting from the lab. Practice safe driving in the rain: maintain safe driving distance, avoid quick braking and hydroplaning.</p>
