[Alert_collaboration] ALERT Meeting

Hello,

Here are a few news about ALERT, first I confirm you that we will have a ALERT meeting at JLab on the 12 of November right prior to the CLAS collaboration meeting. The goal is to all meet and establish the path to JLab's Experiment Readiness Review (ERR) and the construction of the detector. Please let me know if you want to give a presentation at this time, it would be nice to review there all aspects of the detector development and the preparation of the ERR.

Talking about ERR, I met with Patrizia Rossi, who is in charge of the ERR process at JLab. Bottom line is, in order to be considered for scheduling next year, we will need to pass the ERR in May 2019. That is slightly prior to our initial goal of passing the ERR in early Summer 2019, but hopefully is going to be doable. In terms of charges, she referred us to the Bonus ERR, so maybe Gabriel can give us a short presentation at the next meeting about that. On top of this, a new requirement is to demonstrate readiness to analyze the data, which we should therefore start to discuss as well before May. 

Finally, in order to discuss all this, I propose that we meet in September.
