Hello,

I assume everyone has been transitionned to a confined state at this point, I hope it went well for everyone and you are also all doing well healthwise in this complicated time.

After discussion with several people, it was suggested to have more meetings and in particular about software. So we came with the following proposition to have meetings every week, alternating design focused meetings and software focused meeting. So next week, we will have a general meeting (https://clasweb.jlab.org/wiki/index.php/ALERT_Meeting_April_8_2020) and the week after a software meeting (https://clasweb.jlab.org/wiki/index.php/ASoftware_Meeting_April_15_2020). We should continue in this fashion in the coming months as the project progresses fast.

Also, we had a meeting to discuss the future steps for ALERT with Marco Battaglieri (Hall B leader). Marco wants to formalize a bit more some of the collaborations we have with JLab. He will call on a meeting with designers to talk about interactions with the JLab engineers and a similar meeting with the software group of CLAS12. Longer term, Marco would like to have a general meeting with attendance of more Hall-B people sometime around end of August, where we should present the ALERT status in details in order to validate the scheduling of a new ERR sometime before the end of the year.
