Objet: Next ALERT task force meeting
Folks,
I think that after several rounds of email exchanges things have converged for the scheduling of
our next ALERT task force meeting.
Jul. 28 from noon to 2 p.m. (I will send out the bluejeans connection information shortly).
The agenda for this meeting is as follows:
1) Brief updates on preparations from the ALERT team since the last task force meeting
- ATOF, AHDC, electronics, engineering, prototyping, software, Monte Carlo
2) Brief updates on preparations from the JLab team since the last task force meeting
- engineering/design, reconstruction, slow controls, DAQ, trigger, fast electronics
3) Schedule for what must/should happen before the ERR on both the ALERT and JLab sides
- schedule prepared and discussion led by the ALERT team
4) Discussions on:
- Target date for the ERR “dry runs” (presentations to the Hall B group possibly at the end of
September/beginning of October)
- Target date for the ERR (likely in mid-December depending on availability of folks and
readiness of the ALERT)
- Concerns regarding preparations for ERR in December
- ERR charge
I would ask that folks prepare their slides and circulate them to this mailing list by Sunday Jul. 26
so that folks can have a chance to look them over before we meet. Also on the ALERT side, please
forward the plans for the task force meeting to the remainder of the ALERT team. As always, let
me know if you have any questions or comments.
Regards,
Daniel
