Folks,

As announced at the Hall B meeting, we have organized an RG-L/ALERT review to go over schedule, status details,
issues/concerns, and manpower associated with the upcoming experiment that is scheduled to begin in early Feb. 2025.
The goal to ensure that things are on track to have everything ready, to commission the new ALERT detector, and to
begin production data taking.

The review is scheduled for Dec. 5 (this Thursday) from 8:25 a.m. - 12:30 p.m.. It will take place in L102 for those onsite
and also via Zoom: https://jlab-org.zoomgov.com/j/16083693689?pwd=ZUJLOFhucHNQMmZ4UkgvR1VoTm1WZz09&omn=1610913196

The wikipage for the review is located at: https://clasweb.jlab.org/wiki/index.php/CLAS12_ALERT_DEC2024_Review.
This page contains the agenda and the slides will be posted when they are available. The review will have 4 main presentations:
  > ALERT testing status (Whitney Armstrong)
  > Reconstruction software status (Raphael Dupre)
  > Calibratio software status (Michael Paolone)
  > Run preparatio status (Raphael Dupre)

The review has been scheduled for the full morning to give sufficient time for the presenters to get into details on
testing results, software progress, and plans. There should be adequate time for discussion. See you all there.

Regards,
Daniel
(RG-L Physics Division Liaison)
