This is the RC summary for Day Shift July 18 to Owl shift July 19.

Overally pretty good production data taking on Deuterium at 325nA.

Yesterday we found the issue with the low livetime and high trigger rate. It came from Trigger bit 40 (BAND trigger) which had 10kHz at 200nA beam. We masked the trigger and a new trigger file is to be used for now (rgl_inb_v6.1_200MeV.trg).

At the next maintenance, Florian will investigate why the rate is so high since the output scaler on the logic board shows only 1-2kHz which is prescaled by 9. Some cable or NIM_ECL module seems to have a problem.

During Day shift RICH4 roc went busy and had to be rebooted. Target was purged.

During Swing shift, a heavy thunderstorm prevented beam for about 1h but we used the time to purge the target. Furthermore, Hydra showed a faulty channel in ATOF which was fixed wit
h cyclin
g ATOF. Also tdcecal3 had to be rebooted.

During Owl shift, ROC adcecal2 had to be rebooted and ATOF HV tripped which required a power cycle.

ABU for last 24h

- 18.5h of ABUs ~ 77% efficiency,

- Total ABUs since April 5th: 1085+18.5=1103.5 --> 1103.5 / (75.5 * 24) = 61%

- Day 105 of 151 scheduled: 105/151= 69.5%

- BANU: ~3h due to issues with motor movements, Starting Moller DAQ, filling target and general DAQ resets,

Plan for the next days:

Production data on deuterium at 325nA

No RC Meeting today
