Hello everyone, 

I would like to bring your attention to the following Summer school. It is touching right the same topics as the ALERT physics. It is a great occasion to learn on these topics and meet the theorists of the field. 

Light-ion physics in the EIC era: From nuclear structure to high-energy processes 
Florida International University, June 18-27, 2025

Message from the organizers: 

The school will train graduate students and postdocs in the theoretical and experimental methods for high-energy 
scattering experiments on light nuclei, especially next-generation experiments with the future EIC. 
The focus will be on "multiscale methods" for describing the interplay of low-energy nuclear structure with high-energy 
scattering processes (see webpage). The goal is to enable the students to join current research efforts and participate in the 
development of the EIC light-ion physics program. 

We expect to have funds available to support the participants' local expenses (lodging + meals). 
Details re funding will be known at the time the applications are processed and will be communicated.
