A Move Briefing and General Orientation of the new Technology &
Engineering Development building, or TED, is set for Wednesday, Feb. 29,
from 11 a.m. to noon, in the CEBAF Center auditorium.

The briefing is open to everyone directly and indirectly involved in the
larger move effort, everyone who will be moving to the TED, as well as
those who will find themselves working in or routinely going into the
new building.

The briefing will address move logistics and other important information
about the building, to include: points of egress and ingress, parking,
emergency muster points, printers, kitchens, restrooms, conference
rooms, how to find your work associates, etc. The briefing should last
no more than 20 minutes and will include a question and answer period at
the end.

A briefing regarding the new Test Lab Addition (South Annex) is being
planned for April and will be announced when scheduled.

In the coming weeks and months a series of office and work center moves
will take place around Jefferson Lab. The moves will start with the SRF
Institute group moving to the TED, from the Test Lab, Building 58. After
that, the Mechanical and Electrical Engineering groups and the Cryogenic
Fabrication group will move.

The better informed everyone is, the smoother the move process will flow.

FM&L director
