[All_jlab_accounts] Kelvin Dr. Closed to All Vehicles Beginning June 13 for Sidewalk Work

The section of Kelvin Drive that includes CEBAF Center Circle will be 
closed to all vehicle traffic (cars, trucks, golf carts, bikes, etc.) 
beginning at 7:30 a.m. Wednesday, June 13, while the subcontractor 
installs a new, paved walkway to connect CEBAF Center with the TED 
(Technology and Engineering Development) building walkway.

Kelvin Dr., from east of the visitor parking lot and west of the main 
CEBAF Center lot will be closed to all vehicle traffic for about a 
month. Access to the visitor lot will be via Lawrence Drive. Access to 
the main CEBAF Center lot will be via Pauli Drive, Rattley Road and 
Hadron Drive.

Golf carts will not be allowed to park in CEBAF Center Circle. The need 
for additional parking for golf carts is being looked at by Facilities 
Management and Logistics.

During much of this construction project pedestrians will be able to 
move through the area; but please heed all posted signage. A few times 
during the project, the area will be closed to pedestrians. Notices will 
go out in advance of these times.

Please follow all detour signs, temporary walking paths and construction 
signage.
