[All_jlab_accounts] JLab Cybersecurity Alert: Email Phishing Attempt

Jefferson Lab email addresses are currently receiving emails from non-JLab addresses that claim that an email user's email account is near its quota. These emails may have an identifier of "Jefferson Lab Webmail Administration" in the from field, even though they actually originate from an offsite email address. These emails are phishing and should be ignored. Do not click any links in these emails, do not visit any of the websites listed and under no circumstances should you provide any information. Delete the emails as soon as you receive them.

If you have clicked the links in one of these emails, call the IT Division Helpdesk immediately at x7155. Any time you experience any difficulties with your computer, call, email or visit the Helpdesk.
