[All_jlab_accounts] Jefferson Lab: Cryomodule Naming Contest

Staff and Users:

It is a tradition at Jefferson Lab to name the cryomodules that make up 
the accelerator.

In keeping with that tradition, the lab is announcing a contest to name 
each of the 10 new C-100 cryomodules (part of the 12 GeV Upgrade).

A panel of judges will select the winning names, and small prizes will 
be awarded to those whose entries are selected.

The names are typically one word (there are a couple of exceptions, but 
no phrases) and have a special meaning to the lab.

Some of the current names for cryomodules are: Tranquillity, Loyal, 
Newport News, Spirit and Golden Girl.

In addition to submitting a name, please provide a brief statement (1-2 
sentences) explaining the significance of the name you propose.

There is no limit to the number of entries. Submit all entries by e-mail to:

All entries must be submitted by *Oct. 31, 2012*.

Winners will be announced in early November.
