[All_jlab_accounts] JLab CNI Systems Maintenance Set for Tuesday, March 19

There will be a CNI Systems Maintenance period on March 19,  5-10 p.m. During this time, the group will send out Windows and Linux patches to all CUE desktops. New Firefox and Thunderbird versions will be released as well. The group also plans to remove Java 1.6 from any Windows desktops that still run the software; during the maintenance period in February, Java 1.7 was released to desktops, so the removal of Java 1.6 should not cause any issues. Finally, the Zimbra email system will be down for maintenance and upgrades, 5:30-10 p.m. Email will be back up and running no later than 10 p.m. If you have any questions or concerns about this maintenance period, contact the IT Division Helpdesk at x7155 or helpdesk at jlab.org.
