*Newport News Emergency Responders to Conduct Exercise at Lab, Nov. 20-22*

City of Newport News emergency responders will be conducting a training 
exercise at Jefferson Lab Wednesday – Friday, Nov. 20-22, between 3-6 
p.m. Emergency-response vehicles and personnel activity will be located 
on the east and south sides of the Test Lab Addition, Building 58 (these 
are the sides facing Hadron Drive and Cornell U. Road).

The emergency responders will be conducting confined space rescue 
training. Don’t be alarmed by the presence of a variety of 
emergency-response vehicles, specialized equipment and responders. 
Please use caution while driving on Hadron Drive and Cornell U. Road 
while the training activities are underway.


*Possible Congestion in Cafeteria Wed. & Fri.: 12-1 p.m.*


Please anticipate intermittent congestion in Quark Cafe between 12 and 1 
p.m. on Wednesday and Friday, Nov. 20 and 22. To avoid lunch time 
congestion on these days, Staff Services suggests using the cafeteria 
between 11:30 a.m. and 12 p.m. and after 1 p.m.

Extra seating will be set up in the CEBAF Center lobby as space permits.


The CLAS Collaboration will be meeting in multiple rooms (F326/327, 
L102, A110 and the auditorium) in CEBAF Center. The group’s lunch break 
will begin daily at 12 p.m.

*CEBAF Center Parking*

A number of the CLAS Collaboration attendees will be driving in for the 
program. If you experience congestion in the main (east) CEBAF Center 
parking lot, you might want to consider parking in the lot that runs 
between CEBAF Center, Building 12, and the Support Service Center, Bldg. 28.
