[All_jlab_accounts] Message from Hugh Montgomery: Jefferson Lab Open on Oct. 1

Dear Colleagues,


Congress continues to debate funding for Fiscal Year 2014.


Independent of the result of the debates, Jefferson Lab will continue to 
operate.


All Jefferson Lab employees should report to work as normal on Tuesday, 
Oct. 1, 2013, and until further notice.


The lab has carry-over funds that make it possible for continuing 
operations for a limited time under any of the possible outcomes.

During this period, all unnecessary costs should be avoided, including 
non-essential travel.


Please speak with your supervisor if you have any questions.
