U.S. Secretary of Energy Ernest Moniz will visit Jefferson Lab tomorrow, 
Friday, Jan. 31.  Upon his arrival, he plans to meet lab leadership and 
tour lab facilities. He then will address the lab community in a speech 
he will give in the CEBAF Center auditorium, set to begin at 10:30 a.m.

Due to limited seating in the auditorium, each division's associate 
director has been given a number of auditorium seating tickets. Each 
division is responsible for the distribution of their allotment of 
tickets. Only individuals with a seating ticket will be allowed to enter 
the auditorium. Those with a ticket are asked to arrive at the 2nd floor 
mezzanine door to the auditorium between 10:00 -- 10:20 a.m. -- the 
first-floor door to the auditorium will not be open. Late arrivals will 
be turned away.

The speech will be streamed live over the web for those not in the 
auditorium. (The streaming link will be emailed out when it becomes 
available.)

A question-and-answer period will be held at the conclusion of the speech.

The Secretary will depart the lab after the Q&A and continue to Hampton 
University.

While Secretary Moniz <http://energy.gov/contributors/dr-ernest-moniz> 
has been to Jefferson Lab a number of times in the past and has served 
as a member of JSA's board of directors, this will be his first visit to 
the lab since becoming the Secretary of Energy.
