Jefferson Lab email accounts are currently receiving multiple phishing
emails. Most of them have had the subject line: "Notification Message".

In many of the phishing emails, the body of the message includes: "You
have information mail from the Helpdesk click to read." And "Thomas
Jefferson National Accelerator Facility is managed by Jefferson Science
Associates, LLC for the U.S. Department of Energy"

If you clicked on the link, whether you were on site or away from the
lab, contact the Jefferson Lab IT Division Helpdesk immediately.

If you have entered your password, change your password immediately and
contact the JLab Helpdesk.

JLab's cybersecurity system offers some protection to computers at the
lab and on the lab's system. However, the lab cannot protect computers
that are off site.

Again, if you have already received the email and clicked the link,
notify the IT Division Cybersecurity team at security at jlab.org
<mailto:security at jlab.org> or the IT Division Helpdesk at x7155
immediately.

Any time you receive email of a suspicious nature, forward the message
to spam at jlab.org <mailto:spam at jlab.org>.

/Sent on behalf of the IT Division/
