Message from Mike Dallas: Lab’s Top IT Division Position to Turn Over

Jefferson Lab’s Chief Information Officer and Associate Director of the Information Technology Division, Roy Whitney, is retiring. Please join me in thanking Roy for his decades of service to the lab and in wishing him well on his future endeavors. Roy’s career and accomplishments will be celebrated during a ceremony and reception on Friday, Aug. 1, at 3:30 p.m. in the CEBAF Center atrium. The event is open to the lab community.

The lab has begun searching for a new leader for the Information Technology Division; and the search committee has been formed. 

Until the position is filled, Andy Kowalski has agreed to serve as the Acting Associate Director of the IT Division. This will become effective on Tuesday, Aug. 5. Andy has served as the lab’s Computing and Networking Infrastructure Manager for more than 10 years and been a Jefferson Lab staff member since 1995.
