[All_jlab_accounts] 12 GeV CEBAF Upgrade Celebration to Be Held on Friday

Jefferson Lab is holding a celebration on Friday, Sept. 26, to 
commemorate the completion of accelerator and civil construction for the 
lab’s 12 GeV Upgrade project and the start of operations (aka Critical 
Decision 4A); and to recognize several vendors who have provided 
distinguished contract performance.

Virginia Governor Terry McAuliffe will be a keynote speaker at the event 
– scheduled to begin at 9 a.m. in the CEBAF Center auditorium.

Due to limited seating in the auditorium, each division’s associate 
director has been given a number of auditorium seating tickets to share 
with their staff. Each division is responsible for the distribution of 
their allotment of tickets. Only individuals with a seating ticket will 
be allowed to enter the auditorium.

Those with a ticket are asked to arrive at the 2nd floor mezzanine door 
to the auditorium between 8:30 and 8:45 a.m. Late arrivals will be 
turned away.

The first-floor door to the auditorium will not be open.

The speech will be streamed live over the web for those not in the 
auditorium. (The streaming link will be emailed out Friday morning.)

At the conclusion of the program, light refreshments will be served in 
the CEBAF Center lobby.
