Jefferson Lab is holding a celebration beginning at 9 a.m. today to 
commemorate the completion of accelerator and civil construction for the 
lab’s 12 GeV Upgrade project and the start of operations (aka Critical 
Decision 4A); and to recognize vendors who have provided distinguished 
contract performance during this phase of the upgrade effort.

Virginia Governor Terry McAuliffe will be a keynote speaker at the 
event, which will be held in the CEBAF Center auditorium.

Due to limited seating in the auditorium, each division’s associate 
director has been given a number of auditorium seating tickets to share 
with their staff. Only individuals with a seating ticket will be allowed 
to enter the auditorium.

Those with a ticket are asked to arrive at the 2nd floor mezzanine door 
to the auditorium between 8:30 and 8:45 a.m. Late arrivals will be 
turned away.

The first-floor door to the auditorium will not be open.

At the conclusion of the program, light refreshments will be served in 
the CEBAF Center lobby.
