Dear Colleagues, 

We are pleased to inform you that Drew Weisenberger, Detector Systems Group Leader in the Physics Division, will be assuming the Chief Technology Officer (CTO) function for the Lab effective immediately. Key duties in the role of CTO include: 


    * Chairing the Technology Review Committee 
    * Working with the CFO and Business Operations Manager to manage technology transfer activities through the matrixed Technology Transfer organization 
    * Interacting with the Principal Investigators and Subject Matter Experts across the Lab on Intellectual Property identification, protection, disclosure and mentoring in the Technology Transfer process 
    * Coordinating responses on behalf of the Lab for grant funding opportunities 
    * Assisting with management of the Technology Portfolio marketing 

Drew will continue with his duties as the Detector Systems Group Leader and is excited about the opportunity to continue the work done by the Technology Transfer organization, helping move the Lab's agenda forward.
