[All_jlab_accounts] JLab Scratch File Server Outage Set for Wednesday, March 25

The CNI group is planning a short outage for the central scratch file server, jlabscr. The system is having some disk issues and will be down Wednesday, March 25 , 5:30-6 p.m. On those systems where the scratch server is in use, the shutdown may cause interactive desktop hangs or slowdowns. For instance, the central login servers, jlabl1-4, and CUE-managed desktops could potentially hang up or slow down while the system is down. If you have any questions or concerns about this outage, contact the IT Division Helpdesk at helpdesk at jlab.org or x7155.
