/The race is on to register for the 2015 Run-A-Round!/

The 30th Annual Jefferson Lab Run-A-Round will be held Wednesday, May 
13, from 3-6 p.m. JLab staff, users, students, full-time contractors and 
immediate family members are invited to participate. Participating 
staff, users and volunteers receive a free 2015 JLab T-shirt.

The event begins in front of CEBAF Center at 3 p.m. with the debut of 
the 2015 Jefferson Lab T-shirt. The run/walk starts promptly at 3:15 
p.m. The run covers a flat 1.5 miles course meandering through the 
campus.The course map is posted on the JAG website.

Food, beverages, music and awards will follow the race. Custom medal 
awards will go to the top three overall male and female finishers, top 
three Masters male and female finishers (ages 46 and above), and top 
three male and female finishers in each age group.

To be eligible for awards, runners and walkers must register online 
before 5 p.m. on Tuesday, May 12. Pick your race bibs up on Wednesday, 
May 13, between 9 a.m. and 2:30 p.m. in the CEBAF Center lobby.

Late registration will also be available from 9 a.m.-2:30 p.m. on 
Wednesday, May 13, in the CEBAF Center lobby.Individuals registering the 
day of the race will not be eligible for overall, masters or age group 
awards. Register yourself and your family members, even if you do not 
plan to compete, so that adequate refreshments can be provided. Also, 
staff and users may redeem their race bib at the T-shirt Distribution 
Tent to receive their free 2015 Jefferson Lab T-shirt.

Volunteer help is needed before, during and after the event to carry out 
a variety of tasks, including:

-- Course and finish line monitor

-- T-shirt distribution

-- Staffing food, beverage, and ID bracelet tents during the event

-- Trash pickup during and breakdown after the event.

*Road Closures & Parking Guidance during Run-A-Round on May 13*

On the day of the Run-A-Round, for those who need to leave the lab 
between 3-4 p.m., the EEL, Bldg. 90, parking lot will be the only lot 
accessible during the race. If you need to leave early, park in the EEL 
lot and depart the lab via Rattley Road to Hogan Drive.
