[All_jlab_accounts] Effective Feb. 15: JLab Entrance at Lawrence Dr. Closes for Sewer Main Installation

Hampton Roads Sanitation District is installing a 30-inch sewer main on 
Department of Energy property adjacent to Jefferson Avenue. One section 
of the line is being installed just outside the accelerator site fence 
and along Jefferson Avenue. Installation will now proceed under Lawrence 
Drive from the intersection of Lawrence and Jefferson Avenue all the way 
to the intersection of Lawrence and Hogan Drive.

Beginning Monday, Feb. 15, the Jefferson Lab entrance at Lawrence Drive 
and Jefferson Avenue will be closed for two months for installation of 
the new sewer main. All traffic will enter and exit Jefferson Lab via 
Hogan Drive during this period.

Initially, vehicles will still be able to make the immediate right off 
Hogan and onto Lawrence to access the ARC building, during normal 
business hours.

Please follow the posted detour signs.

All construction is scheduled to be completed in the late June to early 
July time frame.
