[All_jlab_accounts] Brief Network Outage Earlier Today

From 10:20 - 11:20 a.m. today, there was an intermittent network outage
in several office spaces across Jefferson Lab.This did not affect
central services or the Accelerator Site.The IT Division worked quickly
to determine there was a software bug in some of the Cisco 4500 model
switches.A workaround was put in place to get these switches back up.The
Network Team has put in a ticket with the vendor to fix this bug.
If you are still having issues with your computer or telephone, please
contact the IT Division Helpdesk (x7155 or helpdesk at jlab.org
<mailto:helpdesk at jlab.org>).A reboot of your computer, or disconnecting
and reconnecting your phone, may be all that's necessary.
