IT Division recommends that all users of the BlueJeans videoconferencing solution install new BlueJeans App 

On Saturday , Sept. 10, Jefferson Lab's videoconferencing solution, BlueJeans, will no longer support the BlueJeans browser plugin for event moderators and presenters. BlueJeans has announced that in order to continue using BlueJeans as a moderator or presenter, users will need to install and use the BlueJeans App. 

The IT Division recommends that all users of BlueJeans install the BlueJeans app, because the BlueJeans browser plugin will become obsolete as it is phased out by the most popular browsers, including Firefox, Internet Explorer and Chrome . Installing the app now will ensure that you will continue to have uninterrupted access to the BlueJeans videoconferencing solution. 

The BlueJeans App is available now for Windows (7, 8, 10) and Mac OS X (10.7 and above) systems. A Linux (RHEL7 and above) version will be released on Sept. 10. To download and install the app for your operating system, please visit the BlueJeans App download page: https://bluejeans.com/downloads
