All Staff and Users,

<b>General Status: </b>Almost all network services have been
restored at this time, including general web servers, hall web
servers, wikis and general applications, and applications. If you
have services or applications that are still unavailable (see
public_html below) or not working properly, please contact the
helpdesk at <a href="mailto:helpdesk@jlab.org">helpdesk@jlab.org</a> or
extension 7155. <br>
<br>
<b>Internet Access</b>: For most scientific, engineering and
technical staff and users, Internet access for the Desktop 1, 2,
and 3 networks as well as for wireless was previously restored.
All other staff and users have Internet access via central
computer systems or a proxy service:
<div>
<div>• SSH to central Linux Servers: Jlabl1,2,3,4<br>
</div>
<div>• RDP to central Windows Terminal Server cluster: <a
href="http://jlabts.jlab.org">jlabts.jlab.org</a></div>
<div>• Use a Web Proxy Server that is limited to a list of
approved web sites. This requires the configuration of the
web browser to use the proxy. To have a legitimate work
related web site added to the proxy list, submit a request to
<a class="moz-txt-link-abbreviated" href="mailto:helpdesk@jlab.org">helpdesk@jlab.org</a> containing the web site URL and
justification.</div>

<b>Public_HTML: </b>A solution has been developed for the public
html pages that were available for users prior to the cyber event.
Starting next week, users will be able to submit an online request
for a public_html web page, an individual page that will be
available off-site. The link to these sites will change slightly:
instead of accessing <a class="moz-txt-link-freetext"
href="http://www.jlab.org/%7Eusername">http://www.jlab.org/~username</a>,
the new link will be <a class="moz-txt-link-freetext"
href="http://userweb.jlab.org/%7Eusername">http://userweb.jlab.org/~username</a>.
More information, including the form link and the process for
moving existing content to the new area, will be made available on
the Computer Center web page (<a href="http://cc.jlab.org/">http://cc.jlab.org</a>)
early next week. <br>
<br>
<b>Public-Facing Website: </b>The current public-facing website (<a
href="http://www.jlab.org/">http://www.jlab.org</a>) is a
temporary version that will soon be replaced with a fully
functional website. You can also access the version of the website
that was available prior to the cyber event at the following URL: <a
href="http://wwwold.jlab.org/">http://wwwold.jlab.org</a>.<br>
<br>
As always, please contact the helpdesk for any issues: <a
