Jefferson Lab's Counting House, Building 97, is being renovated to
replace the first floor air conditioning systems, replace lighting,
renovate the first and second floor restrooms, renovate the
elevator, replace the roof, replace the second floor windows, and
other cosmetic improvements.<br>
<br>
Construction is underway and will continue through April 2013. The
entire building has been designated a construction site. Anyone
entering the construction site is required to wear appropriate
personal protective equipment (PPE) to include: hard hat, safety
glasses and steel-toe shoes, and have prior approval from the JLab
SOTR, Christine Snetter at ext. 7318.<br>
<br>
Access is being provided to the second floor electronic racks for
the Personnel Safety System (PSS) system, and data and phone systems
during construction through the exterior stair to the second floor.
Keys are required for access. Keys can be requested through the
Facilities Management and Logistics work order system.<br>
<br>
Access to the basement labyrinth and Halls A, B, and C is permitted
through the truck ramp personnel door for each hall. An alternate
entrance to the halls is through the rear door to the Counting House
and down the stairs to the lower level. Keys are required for
access. Keys can be requested through the FM&L work order
system.<br>

Restrooms during construction are available on the labyrinth level
in Building 97 and in Building 98.<br>
