    Some you may have read or heard a news report over the weekend about

    furloughs at Jefferson Lab.

    <br>

    <br>

    I am writing to repeat what I wrote in a March 5 all-staff memo, and

    that is

    that we do not yet know the impact of the federal sequestration on

    Jefferson

    Lab.

    <br>

    <br>

    DOE is still working through the FY13 budget.

    <br>

    <br>

    If the lab does experience a reduction, our initial response will be

    to

    achieve savings in the purchase of materials and supplies.
