This is due to UniScribe not being enabled on Jefferson Lab Windows XP systems by default. UniScribe is a set of application programming interfaces that enables applications to render Unicode text on Windows XP systems. The CNI group is updating Windows policy so that UniScribe becomes enabled following a system reboot. Plan on rebooting your Windows XP system sometime after 1 p.m. today, Thursday, Oct. 3, in order to finalize the policy update. If you continue to have issues with printing after a reboot or you have any questions or concerns regarding this Windows Policy update, contact the IT Division Helpdesk at <a href="mailto:helpdesk@jlab.org">helpdesk@jlab.org</a> or x7155.</font></div><div><br></div><div><br></div></body></html>
