/A Message from the Chief Technology Officer Roy Whitney and the 
Technology Transfer Team/

Technology transfer (i.e. invention disclosures) is an important part of 
our mission at Jefferson Lab. Transferring technologies developed here 
can yield benefits for both the inventor and the lab, and these efforts 
enhance the lab's profile both nationally and internationally.

The Technology Transfer Team is dedicated to helping everyone at 
Jefferson Lab realize the potential of their great research, ideas and 
inventions. To make the invention disclosure process easier, the team 
has just established a response system to assist inventors and answer 
questions about the disclosure and patent process.

If you have a question or need help, e-mail brightideas at jlab.org, and we 
will respond promptly.

As always, if you have an idea or have invented a product or process 
through your work at Jefferson Lab, you are encouraged to use the
