[All_jlau] JLab's SURA Road Closes Friday, 5 p.m.

  Jefferson Lab's SURA Road, which includes Flag Alley, will close 
permanently to all vehicle traffic effective 5 p.m. Friday, Nov. 5. 
Also, the portion of BCS Road that intersects with SURA Road will close. 
Please follow all posted traffic signs.

Vehicles will be able to continue accessing the Machine Shop via Hadron 
Drive to BCS Road.

For the time being, SURA Road will become part of the TEDF construction 
site so it also will be closed to pedestrian traffic. Pedestrians are 
encouraged to use the sidewalks located on the east and west sides of 
the Experimental Equipment Lab (EEL, Bldg. 90).

SURA Road is closing for construction of the Technology and Engineering 
Development Facility project, which will provide state-of-the-art 
facilities for research in the areas of nuclear physics, accelerator 
science, applied nuclear science and technology, and advanced 
superconducting radiofrequency instrumentation.
