[All_jlau] Network Status 7/5 ~1pm

All Staff and Users,

For the cyber event we are working through, following is status 
information, changes and updates for today:

    * Currently available services and connectivity will remain as they
      are until 5:00 pm today, 7/5.
    * Shortly after 5:00 pm Windows central services will go off briefly.
          o IMPORTANT: save all work prior to 5:00 pm.
          o Windows users, log off but keep your systems booted up and
            connected to the network for the evening.
    * Smartcard users requiring access after hours: contact the helpdesk
      before 5:00 pm.
    * All other smartcard users: come to the helpdesk anytime after 7:15
      am, 7/6.
    * All users, anticipate needing to reboot the morning of Wednesday,
      7/6 and changing their password.

We will have an update this evening on when various services will be 
connect to the Internet.  Additional information will be made available 
as updates occur using to the following link (on site only):

The PAC proposal submission web page took longer than anticipated to 
bring online and should now be available from both on-site and off-site. 
Users can also submit proposals via email at sbrown at jlab.org. The web 
link is:

    https://misportal.jlab.org/ul/proposals/
