[All_jlau] JLab Computer Center Maintenance Period Begins Tonight at 5 p.m.

The Computer Center will have a maintenance period this evening, 5 p.m. - 8 p.m. During this time, the CEBAF Center F wing 3rd floor will be without network connectivity while a switch is replaced. Also, there will be a short network outage to the 2nd floor of CEBAF Center and a brief interruption to offsite access. Additionally, the www.jlab.org web server will be offline for a few minutes for a configuration change. Finally, patches will be released to all Windows and Linux systems. Plan to reboot your system to finalize patch installation when possible on Wednesday or Thursday. For questions, contact the IT Division Helpdesk at x7155 or helpdesk at jlab.org.
