[All_jlau] Reminder: June 1 Deadline for Taking SAF 100 Refresher Training

It is now required for everyone with a Jefferson Lab ID badge to take 
the SAF100, ES&H Orientation every three-years.

On March 22 a message was sent out advising members of the JLab 
community about this new safety refresher training requirement. Many 
individuals still need to take this refresher training.

If you haven't yet re-taken SAF100, please do so as soon as feasible. 
All staff, students, users, joint and bridge appointees, and contract 
staff* are required to take this training.**

The updated version of this ES&H Orientation course is available from:
http://www.jlab.org/div_dept/train/webbasedtraining.html
(SAF 100 is the first course listed under the ES&H subhead).

If you have not completed this course as of June 1, 2012, your SAF100 
training will expire and your JLab badge will not allow you access to 
JLab facilities and controlled-entry work areas until the course has 
been completed.

*Contract staff means the individual contractors managed by Procurement.

**The posted version of SAF100 was published on Feb. 3, 2012; if you 
have taken this course since then, your SAF100 training is and will 
remain current until 2015.

"Training-related Skills" link in your Personal Information portlet on 
INSIGHT. (The Personal Information portlet is in the left-hand column, 
under your My Bookmarks portlet.)
