[All_jlau] JLab Energy Reduction Annual Test set for Thur., June 14

Jefferson Lab has been notified by Virginia Dominion Power to reduce its 
electric demand on Thursday, June 14, as part of the annual electric 
load reduction test. The Energy Reduction test will start at 2 p.m. and 
conclude at 3 p.m. No action is required at this time.

Instructions will follow in messages sent out on June 14. For planning 
purposes, don't start heavy electrical load work, power ups or tests 
after 1 p.m. on June 14.

_Steps for the 2012 Annual Electrical Load Reduction Test_
The annual test will occur on Thursday, June 14, 2 - 3 p.m.
12 p.m. noon: Notification will be sent out that the event will start at 
2 p.m.
1:30 p.m.:  Notification will be sent out asking all JLab staff and 
users to start securing electric loads. This work should be completed by 
1:50 p.m.
2 p.m.: Power Reduction test starts
Soon after 3 p.m.: Notification will be sent out that the event has 
concluded. Reenergize secured loads and commence planned work.
