*July 7 All-Hands Meeting with DOE Deputy Secretary Sherwood-Randall*

Deputy Secretary of Energy, Elizabeth Sherwood-Randall, is visiting 
Jefferson Lab today. She will provide remarks to the lab community 
during an all-hands meeting scheduled to start at 3:15 p.m. in the CEBAF 
Center auditorium. The Deputy Secretary plans to speak about the 
strategic priorities for DOE, as they relate to Jefferson Lab.

All members of the Jefferson Lab community are welcome to attend. 
Seating in the auditorium will be available on a first-come, 
first-served basis. Auditorium doors will open at 2:45 p.m.Everyone 
planning to attend is asked to be seated in the auditorium no later than 
3:05 p.m. No standing or sitting at the back of the auditorium or on 
auditorium stairs will be permitted.

*About the Presenter*

Dr. Elizabeth Sherwood-Randall was nominated by President Obama to be 
Deputy Secretary of Energy on July 8, 2014, and was confirmed by the 
U.S. Senate on Sept. 18, 2014. Working with Energy Secretary Ernest 
Moniz, she is responsible for management of the Department of Energy and 
execution of the Administration’s highest priority energy initiatives. 
This is her first visit to Jefferson Lab. More information about the
