[All_jlau] Last Open House Training Session: Thursday at 1p.m.; Critical Afternoon Volunteer Slots Still Open

*A Number of Volunteers Are Still Needed - Mostly for Afternoon Shifts*

Jefferson Lab’s Open House will be Saturday, April 30. The event is the 
lab’s most important and largest public outreach effort. The key to the 
event's success is our volunteers. Many volunteer positions have been 
filled, but a significant number of afternoon positions are still 
open.We are seeking five volunteers to help out as Bus Stop Monitors; 
this position is important for maintaining guest safety around the 
shuttle buses. We also need a number of Bus Riders and some Walking Path 
Monitors and a Monitor for the LERF Lobby.

Non-exempt employees will be paid, with advance approval from their 
supervisors.

*Final Volunteer Training Session Set for Thursday*

The last general training and information session for volunteers will be 
given on Thursday, April 28, at 1 p.m. in the CEBAF Center 
auditorium.Volunteers who haven’t yet attended a training session should 
plan on attending this session.

During the session, volunteers receive their T-shirt, communications 
card, parking pass and important event information.

*Document Control Deadline for Accepting Open House Posters is 4 p.m. 
Thursday*

Open House posters to be printed by Document Control must be sent to 
Document Control staff no later than 4 p.m. Thursday, April 28.

Document Control is located on the second floor of the ARC building.
